Occupational Therapy can help your child to participate in everyday routines and activities. Many children with neurological differences, find fitting into everyday life difficult. We will assess what issues your child is experiencing and arrange an individualised programme to address the problem. We work closely with other professionals and with the family to achieve a positive outcome. We can help to advocate for your child’s specific needs so that they can thrive in their own way.
We have a home and school visiting service to maximise the child’s ability to transfer skills to the appropriate environment. They learn in the environment where they need the new skills and the therapist is able to make adjustments to tasks and environments on the spot.
We focus on skills such as self-care, play, interaction and organisational and self-regulatory skills.
